Your images are sent to RookImg's servers only to power the tool you are using, then deleted immediately afterward. They are never stored, sold or shared.

Where does the image processing happen?

Processing runs securely on RookImg's servers using fast, well-tested libraries. The only exception is Color Picker, which reads pixel data directly in your browser.

How long are my files kept on the server?

Only as long as it takes to process the single request. Files are held in memory, never written to disk storage, and deleted as soon as the result is ready.

Why does RookImg ask me to sign in?

An account is only used for authentication. Signing in unlocks the dashboard and downloads manager. It is never used to store or access your images.

Yes. Guest Mode lets you use every RookImg image tool without creating an account. Signing in is optional and adds account features such as the dashboard and downloads manager.

Which image formats does RookImg support?

JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC and PDF. You can convert between JPG, PNG and WEBP, convert HEIC photos to JPG, and combine images into or extract images from PDF files.

What is the maximum file size?

RookImg accepts common image and PDF files. Very large files can be slow on upload or time out on weak connections, so for best results compress or resize files larger than a few tens of megabytes first.

Yes. The interface is mobile-ready with touch-friendly controls, compact cards and bottom navigation, so the core tools work on any screen size.

Which browsers do I need?

RookImg uses modern browser APIs such as File, Blob, ArrayBuffer and local downloads. Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox are recommended.
